1. Warranty Terms & Transfer Guidelines
Products acquired through authorized pulumaebike retailers receive limited warranties as follows:
· 12-Month Coverage: Battery systems, motor controllers, and bicycle frames
· 3-Month Coverage: Electronic components (display panels, brake levers, throttle mechanisms, headlamps, pedal-assist systems)
· 3-Month Accessory Coverage: Drivetrain parts (shifters, sprockets, chains), handlebars, seatposts, forks, freewheels, and disc brakes (tire punctures excluded)
Warranty activation requires valid proof of purchase from our e-commerce platform. Coverage applies solely to the initial end-user and purchased item. For subsequent owners:
· Coverage commences from original purchase date
· Requires submission of prior owner's name and order reference number
2. Coverage Scope & Limitations
pulumaebike commits to replacing manufacturing defects and transit damage, excluding issues arising from:
2.1 Battery Warranty Details
· 12-month prorated replacement for defective lithium-ion batteries
· Free repairs/replacements during coverage; replaced units inherit original warranty timeline
· Diagnostic Authority: Only pulumaebike-certified technicians may assess battery conditions
· Exclusion Criteria:
· Accidental damage (collisions, falls, impacts)
· Environmental exposure (liquids, chemicals, extreme temperatures)
· Unauthorized modifications or non-OEM chargers
· Cosmetic imperfections (scratches, dents) not present at delivery
· Missing/altered serial numbers or improper assembly
· Use of unapproved accessories or competitive riding
2.2 Frame Warranty Details
· One-time frame replacement at pulumaebike's discretion (labor costs excluded)
· Replacement frames may exhibit minor cosmetic blemishes
· Non-Covered Scenarios:
· Corrosion from environmental factors
· Paint fading or impact marks
· Structural damage from collisions
· Permanent alterations (welding, drilling)
2.3 Component Warranty Details
· 12-month coverage for original equipment (shipping fees apply after 15-day grace period)
· Non-Covered Items:
· Environmental corrosion or surface finish degradation
· Damage from improper assembly/maintenance
· Unauthorized third-party accessories
· Normal wear items (brake pads, tires, grip tape)
· Cosmetic damage or missing identification labels
3. Claim Protocol
3.1 Warranty Fulfillment
· Submit claims to service@pulumaebike.com with:
· Original purchase invoice
· High-resolution images/videos documenting defects
· Pre-claim consultation recommended for expedited resolutions
· Replacement parts ship only after visual evidence verification
· Important: Free replacements exclude shipping costs; unauthorized service fees not reimbursed
3.2 Transit Damage Claims
· Report visible damage within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence
· Non-Compensable Items:
· Minor packaging abrasions
· Superficial component scratches
· Flexible part deformation from handling
· Expected wear on consumable components
· Claims beyond 7-day window automatically voided
4. Service Agreements
· Third-party repairs qualify only for free part replacements (labor costs remain customer responsibility)
· No retroactive compensation for self-performed modifications
General Provisions
· All warranty determinations made by pulumaebike's technical team are final
· pulumaebike reserves sole discretion over replacement part compatibility
· This policy supersedes all prior agreements; amendments require written confirmation
